After your business has been inspected and the commercial occupancy permit has been approved, the Public Works Department will forward your information to the City Clerk's Office. You will receive notification that you may pick up your permit and pay for your business license. You can begin your business as soon as you have received your commercial occupancy permit and have paid for your business license.
Commercial Occupancy Permits
Pursuant to Ordinance 724, a business license and commercial occupancy permit is required.
The cost of the license depends on the type of business:
Home Occupation - $30 per year
Office / Services - $60 per year
Manufacturing - $60 per year
Retail - $60 per year
You must renew your business license by June 30 of each year. The renewal fee is the same as above.
