John Taylor has served on the City Council for 8 years. John is a member of several Committees, Boards, and Commissions including the Emergency Management Committee, an alternative liaison on the Business Revitalization Committee, member of the Liquor License Committee, liaison on Emergency Management Committee, member of Safety & Loss Prevention Committee, Chairman of the Old City Hall Utilization and Exploratory Committee.
John has been married for 32 years and has 2 children. He has resided in Black Jack for 12 years. John is the former president of the Old Jamestown Forest Association and is a member of the New Hope Baptist Church where he is the Usher Board President. He is also the Coordinator of the Men’s Fellowship Program.
