I have been a resident of Black Jack along with my wife Joyce for 17 years.  I am presently serving my 2nd elected term after being appointed by Mayor McCourt to complete the unexpired term of the previous councilman of Ward 1.

Before my appointment to the City Council I served as a member of the Black Jack Park and Recreation Board and the Solid Waste Committee. As a member of the City Council, I served as a member on the Community Affairs Committee, the Annexation Committee, the Liquor License Committee, and I am the Safety Coordinator.  I am presently Council Liaison to the Safety and Loss Prevention Committee and the Business Revitalization Committee.

I have worked in Management and/or supervisory positions with companies such as the U. S. Paint as Plant Superintendent and Chrysler Corporation as Production Supervisor. 
I attended Moorehead State University, in Moorehead, Kentucky.  I have participated in several seminars and lectures on Management/Supervision and hold a supervisory certificate from UMSL.
